Terms of Use

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Welcome to the MUXU LAB website. By using this site you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. Purpose of the content

The experiment guides, explanations, checklists and other materials on this site are provided as general reference for middle school physics, chemistry and biology learning, and do not constitute a professional guarantee of any kind. You should judge for yourself whether an experiment is appropriate for your situation, and seek guidance from a teacher or qualified professional where necessary.

2. Experiment safety disclaimer

Experiments involve a degree of risk. Any procedure involving fire, electricity, chemicals, glassware, blades or heating must be carried out under the supervision of an adult (a parent or teacher), with the necessary protective equipment in place and clean water and first-aid measures at hand. Do not exceed the quantities, concentrations or operating ranges described on this site. You are responsible for your own safety while performing experiments; to the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any personal injury or property damage arising from carrying out experiments.

3. Accuracy of information

We do our best to make the steps and explanations we publish clear and accurate at the time of publication, but omissions may still occur, and textbook editions and equipment conditions vary. We therefore cannot guarantee that all content is always complete, current, or suitable for every situation. If you find an error, please let us know by email.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, visual design, original images, logos and code expression on this site are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Without written permission, you may not copy this site’s content wholesale, republish it, sell it, or use it in a misleading way. When quoting reasonably, please credit the source and keep a link to the original page.

5. Reader message board

The message board on the Contact page lets readers publicly submit experiments they would like to see, and questions about them. Every message is reviewed by a person before it is published. We are under no obligation to publish any given message, and we may remove a published message at any time, or keep only part of it alongside our reply.

By posting you confirm that the message is your own, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it does not contain: advertising or external links; abuse, discrimination, sexual, violent or unlawful content; another person’s real name, school, address or phone number; anything unrelated to middle school science experiments; or step-by-step instructions for dangerous procedures. To prevent abuse, each source may submit at most 3 messages per day.

By posting you also grant us a free, non-exclusive right to display, retain and quote that message publicly on this site and in our articles, keeping the display name you entered; this grant does not affect your own rights in what you wrote. Messages are the responsibility of the person who posted them and do not represent the views of this site. If you believe a message infringes your rights or is otherwise inappropriate, email the address below and we will look into it. Younger readers should let a parent or teacher know before posting. How we handle the personal data involved is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the site in ways that damage, circumvent, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to its services, nor use its content for illegal or dangerous activities or activities that infringe the rights of others.

7. Third-party services and links

This site may reference third-party tools, materials or websites. Such content is provided independently by the respective third parties, and we make no guarantee as to its availability, accuracy, security or privacy practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for indirect losses arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the content of this site.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and its content evolve. Updates will be published on this page and take effect from the date of publication.
